Matrix Audio Visual & Entertainment is a 26year young company looking for an experienced Technical Pre-Sales Manager to strengthen our Enquiry Response Team.
This is a critical role responsible for translating client briefs into accurate, technically sound Bills of Quantity (BOQ) for conferences, product launches, gala dinners, corporate events, and large-scale activations across the UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
- Study client briefs, floor plans, and venue layouts.
- Prepare detailed and accurate BOQs for staging, sound, lighting, LED screens, trussing, power distribution, and special effects.
- Conduct venue assessments and technical feasibility checks.
- Evaluate power requirements (kVA load calculations), rigging limitations, and access constraints.
- Plan setup, show flow, and breakdown timelines.
- Assess manpower requirements (technical crew, riggers, operators, loaders).
- Factor transportation logistics and site access into costing.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Sales Team, and Operations.
- Ensure proposals are technically correct, commercially viable, and operationally executable.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5–6 years of experience in live events / AV production (UAE experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of:
- Power distribution and generator sizing
- Venue rigging limitations and load capacities
- Setup and dismantling timelines
- Labor planning and crew allocation
- Transportation and logistics for events
- Experience working in major UAE venues, hotels, ballrooms, exhibition halls, and outdoor venues.
- Ability to interpret CAD drawings and technical layouts.
- Strong attention to detail and cost awareness.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic relationship development and management of Key suppliers and clients
