TEG Board Election

Dear Colleagues,

I hope this message finds you well.

We are excited to announce that we currently have a few board positions available and are opening up the opportunity for you to nominate yourself or a fellow company member of a senior position to join our existing board. Your involvement in shaping the future of The Events Group (TEG) is highly valued, and we look forward to receiving nominations for the following positions:

  • Vice President of Marketing and Communication.
    Develop and implement an annual marketing strategy, manage social media presence, and create engaging content to expand TEG’s audience reach.
  • Vice President of Strategy and Partnership.
    Developing strategic alliances that bring mutual benefits to TEG and its members in cooperation with the TEG board. 
  • Vice President of Events Services
    Representation of this sector and working together with the TEG board to reach TEG’s objectives and goals. 
  • Vice President of Weddings
    Serve as a key liaison for the wedding industry, fostering networking opportunities, sharing knowledge, promoting education, and advocating for best practices within the sector. 

These positions play crucial roles in guiding our organization’s direction, and we seek dedicated senior event professionals passionate about contributing to our community. If you believe you or someone within your company possesses the skills and commitment to excel in any of these roles, we encourage you to reach out. To nominate yourself or another member, please reach out with the following information:

– Name of the nominee, company, and designation. 

– Position nominated for.

– Brief description outlining relevant experience.

The deadline for nominations is October 7th, so please ensure submissions are received by this date. 

The nominees will be announced and a voting process will occur at our upcoming industry gathering.
