Description

Project Leadership & Delivery

• Lead complex audio projects from concept to completion, ensuring world-class technical delivery and client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the Head of Audio, project managers, and other department leads to design, plan, and execute bespoke audio solutions for high-profile live events.
• Balance time effectively between onsite leadership (approx. 70%) and project planning, design, and coordination (approx. 30%).
• Act as the senior technical authority onsite, overseeing setup, system alignment, tuning, and live operation to ensure flawless performance.
• Technical Expertise & Innovation
• Demonstrate expert-level proficiency in sound system design, alignment, and operation, including advanced knowledge of audio physics, networking, and signal flow.
• Operate and mix on a range of cutting-edge audio consoles, playback systems, and RF systems with mastery.
• Advise on and implement the latest software, firmware, and technology updates to maintain CTME’s technical leadership.
• Develop innovative audio workflows and methodologies, continuously improving efficiency, quality, and creative potential.

Client Engagement & Representation

• Represent CTME in client meetings, site visits, and technical discussions, translating creative and operational requirements into detailed technical plans.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication, professionalism, and delivery excellence.

Equipment Management & Quality Control

• Supervise equipment preparation, testing, and maintenance processes, ensuring readiness, reliability, and compliance with CTME standards.
• Oversee warehouse prep teams, ensuring all systems are configured, tested, and documented accurately.
• Ensure all returned equipment is properly tested, logged, and maintained to the highest standards.
• Team Development & Mentorship
• Mentor and support Audio Engineers and Technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Share advanced technical knowledge and encourage innovation within the team.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and constructive feedback to elevate departmental performance.

Process Optimization

• Collaborate with the Head of Audio and other departments to refine project workflows and interdepartmental processes.
• Proactively identify opportunities to streamline operations, enhance quality, and optimize resource utilization.

Health, Safety & Professional Standards

• Ensure compliance with CTME’s health, safety, and quality standards at all times.
• Maintain current First Aid, Fire Warden, and safety certifications.
• Uphold CTME’s core values of innovation, collaboration, and excellence in all aspects of work.
